You can change your Tako plan at any time on our "Pricing Page".

Whether you’re thinking of upgrading or downgrading, here are some things you should know.

What happens to my credit balance?

When you change your subscription, your credit balance will automatically be updated to the new number of credits provided in your chosen plan

The existing credits from your previous plan will not be added on to the new number of credits.

How will I be charged?

Billing for Tako is prorated, meaning you will be charged for a plan according to the length of time you were subscribed to it. Meanwhile, Shopify billing cycles occur in 30-day intervals.

So what does this mean?

For example, if you subscribed to the Starter Plan on June 1 and upgraded to the Pro Plan on June 15:

  • Your credit balance will automatically be updated to 200 credits as per the Pro Plan
  • You will be charged $4.50 for the Starter Plan for that 15 day period
  • You will be charged $19.50 for the Pro Plan for the remaining 15 days of that month
  • Since June has 30 days, you will be billed on July 1 and your credit balance will be reset to 200 credits
