How Credits Work
What are credits?
Credits are your copywriting currency. To get you started, we give you 20 credits to try Tako out.
- Product descriptions cost 2 credits to generate. Depending on your plan, you will get between 3 to 4 different descriptions per SKU with each generation.
- Ads are free to generate. You will get 3 different descriptions with each generation.
- Blog posts cost 2 credits to generate.
Your credit balance will be reset to the number provided in your plan with each new cycle. Credits from the previous month do not roll over into the next, so be sure to use them up before your credit reset date.
This reset will occur on the day of your subscription every month. To check the reset date, you can refer to “Payment History” under your “Account” page.
How do I view my credits and payment history?
To view your credits and payment history, simply head over to your "Account" page.
The "Credits History" section shows you how many credits you've spent over the past week, month and year, so that you can choose the best plan that works for you.
You can keep track of your subscription status and plan by checking the "Payments History" section.
How do I get more credits?
If your business is growing and you need more credits every month, you can choose to upgrade your plan.
If you've just run out of credits but don't want an upgrade, you can purchase one-off credit packs as well.
You can also refer a friend and earn 50 free credits if they install Tako using your referral link.
